working with art is the cure

We would love to find new ways to grow and promote art therapy. There are a number of ways we are hoping to grow but it all involves the cooperation of likeminded, creative, passionate people who want to be part of this movement. Whether you want to be part of our interview series, join us on a future podcast, share your time and talents to create content for us or support us by promoting on social media, wearing our merch or sponsoring us in some capacity, the whole goal is to find ways to inspire people and every little action helps.

interviews

Art Is The Cure wants to meet interesting, exciting people from different creative industries and backgrounds to share your stories with. As things grow, we would love to begin a podcast series and expand our interview series to sit down conversations with people. To inquire about being interviewed or being part of our future podcast series, please contact us.

If you are interested in interviewing Art Is The Cure founder Rich Simmons or sharing our organisations story, we would love to discuss all media opportunities as well!

SCHOOL VISITS and talks

Over the last decade of running Art Is The Cure, we have been lucky enough to visit schools around the world to give engaging talks and workshops with students. We are based in London so it is easier to arrange UK based visits first, but if there is an opportunity to bring our Art Is The Cure message to schools internationally again, we would love to discuss this with you.

The thing that makes us different is we charge schools a fee to visit. We believe that inspiring the students to learn about art therapy and the creative industry is too important to let school budgets get in the way. By selling merchandise and getting sponsorship opportunities, we are able to fund our own visits to schools so schools don't have to pay us.

If you work in a school or you are a student and you want us to visit, please get in touch to arrange something. With the current lockdown situations around the world, we aren’t in a position to visit schools but as soon as things are safe, we would love to have opportunities lined up so don’t hesitate to contact us to get the ball rolling now!

ART IS THE CURE SCHOOL CLUBS

One of the amazing things we have seen take place after visiting a school is the students wanting to create something that continues our message of hope, unity and creativity alive. This is where some schools have created Art Is The Cure clubs for students to visit who need a space to be creative when they’re struggling, a support network to talk to or a way for older students to support younger students with their art journeys.
